Perhaps we have returned to the question Albert Einstein posed many years ago. Have you decided whether or not the universe is a friendly place? If you have decided that the universe is not friendly, is your decision based on the old paradigm, “What you see is what you get,” or have you chosen a new reality where what you create is what you get?

Always, for as long as I have memory, there have been powerful energies accompanying me. Angels, spirit guides, ancestors, pure consciousness, I don’t know what all. I do know why. I invite them. I welcome and acknowledge them. I invoke them. They seem joyous that I do. I am joyous that they are such willing associates on my journey. I thank divine source for each of my unseen friends.

It doesn’t matter if you call upon angels, ancient mystics, saints or your own divine nature. What matters is that you call forth some higher state of consciousness. Call forth a vibration that lifts you higher and higher to the truth of your magnificence so that when you dream what you want to manifest, you are dreaming from a place of no limitations.

Higher consciousness creates space for possibilities to come forward. It brings creative forces to the stuff needed to create with. It believes anything is possible because it knows every desire is ever present in the unified field, the field of infinite potentiality. Anything under the sun is truly possible. So dream immensely from high places and watch the magnificent unfold before your eyes.

As global consciousness shifts into higher vibrations (sound and light frequencies) a new language is developing. The unseen world is becoming tangible because the new tools for understanding are not limited to solid, denser forms. We are acknowledging the unseen reality as more real than the former solidified images. This is a new adventure for most of us.

The awesome expansiveness of the multidimensional realities makes this adventure seem daunting. How do we talk about multidimensional medical interventions that work simply by imagination and intention? What explanation does quantum physics offer about the success of long distance healers? Why does awareness of synchronicity offer such rapid opportunities for quantum leaps in spiritual growth? Why is personal spiritual growth the ultimate healer of global consciousness? Does the interconnectedness of all life cause everyone to become   enlightened simultaneously?

How can any one being know with certainty what this reality shift will bring when we truly are creating it as we grow and awaken to our dreams? Dreams of peace and harmony, dreams of prosperity and generosity, compassion and tolerance, dreams of wholeness and health and complete spiritual awareness are all goals of the age of enlightenment. Who are you? Who are you becoming and in what reality do you choose to live?

It is easy to understand our past decision to believe that the universe is an evil monster waiting to devour us if our assessment is based on a victim mentality. Just as love is a decision we make about how we choose to live, so is it a decision we must make concerning our attitude about the universe.

In reality, the planet is a giant playground, a place to experience all there is. Pain is experience, too, — some say it is our greatest teacher. You could choose to view the universe as one would view a waiter at a fine restaurant, unimposing, ever ready to serve up your next request for succulent, delicious, life-giving food; a banquet that is ever present. The universe is a friendly place when you remember that you place all the orders.

Remember, of course, to place all your orders from a higher consciousness. It always amazes me how easily we are convinced that we create our own reality when we refer to all the things we judge as going wrong in our lives. When it is suggested, however, that we have created something spectacular and glorious, we always want to give the credit to someone else, to some external force, some accidental, coincidental, spontaneous blessing that just happened to us. That kind of victim mentality and false humility serves no one, least of all your highest good. Why are we so afraid to acknowledge our personal power?

When I ask this question to groups of people, someone inevitably responds, “Maybe because we are afraid to misuse it.” It is precisely fear that causes the misuse of personal power. Think back to the last time you misused your power. What were you afraid of? Did you manipulate a loved one because you were afraid to lose something? Did you lie to someone because you were afraid that if they knew the truth you would be judged negatively? Now, think about what personal power really is. Isn’t it about standing in your own truth? How can that hurt you or anyone else? Here is where responsibility comes in. If I am judged to be wonderful    because I have lied about who I am, then I am responsible for misusing my power. If I am judged as “less than” for speaking my truth, who is responsible for the judgment?

We get into trouble with issues of power when we allow ego to make choices for us. Ego at its best is a messenger service, the U.P.S. of our personal history. It delivers information. Information has no power. Wisdom does. Ego has no wisdom; only information. I can read a thousand books on meditation. If I don’t sit down to practice what I’ve read, what have I gained? Nothing.

When we get information from ego we must send it to a higher consciousness. Your higher self has practiced what to do with information for a long time, forever, in fact. Wisdom is ever present in your higher awareness. Your higher self is older than time out of mind. It was born from the first out breath of God. How else could you have co-created the magnificent being that you are and the radiant universe that serves you like a five-star restaurant? Create a menu with limitless choices and may the blessings that come your way always be actively created by you. May all your choices enlighten you to the oneness of it all.
