All that exists is Divine Design. You were built upon this foundation but allowed others the authority to tamper with the design. Now you and the creator are the architect and engineer of your design. Know what gifts you bring to the drawing table. Remember to place in your design a creative challenge so that you can stretch and grow. Be bold and courageous. Create something brand new and step into the design with new found enthusiasm.
The tapestry of life continues to be woven. Occasionally an
opportunity arises to repair an older, tattered piece of the weave. Something happens to
jolt our awareness back in time to an event that resulted in tears and rips. With new,
more mature vision, we see the circumstances in present time and have compassion for the
unclear events of the past. While the new experience is being woven into the design, the
old rip is simultaneously being repaired. All is well. Every stitch is in Divine Right
Order.
Healing can be an adventure. Choose to dive into it with gusto! Be a brave hunter on an
exciting expedition to find the beast. Leave no leaf unturned in the depths of your being.
When you find the powerful wild thing of fear and loathing within, take aim, act quickly.
With heartfelt intention embrace the beast and soon you will find only a soft, furry
kitten purring contentedly in your arms. Fear and violence strengthen this beast;
compassion tames it.
Healing is a spiritual journey. We can choose to be enlivened by the adventure,
searching for weaknesses in the design with the intention to mend and shore them up for
new adventures. We can also choose to see ourselves as flawed. This view stagnates the
movement of our dance with life and keeps us from realizing our dream design. What we have
labeled flawed could be mined as gold if we realize that we are already in perfect design.
If you connect yourself to all that is and see yourself as a co-creator of divine design,
then even that flawed part of the design that you are ready to move away from
can be seen as gift.
Every step we take is a choreographed dance with life; a waltz, a cha cha, a twist, a
steady rhythmic movement toward creative forces. Take a chance. Dare to be
different. There are no mistakes. There is only adventure. Search for the real you.
Discover yourself in the dance. Re-create your self in the rhythm of a new song. Return to
your original soul sound and match your movement to that which moves you to harmonize the
old with the new. Revisit yourself, your higher self that knows the music of your heart.
Be alive, alert, awake. Dance the dance of juicy fecundity! Step, hop, shuffle, turn,
spin, leap, tap, shake and shimmy. Shout to the universe, GIVE ME MORE!
Even the most positive, self-assured person will reach stagnation on the path. This is
also the rhythm of the dance of life. Remember the wonderful pauses and dips in the movie
classics starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Pause to enjoy your new design. Rest in
the energy of the creation. Revitalize your being. The Japanese are masters of this art
form. When creating a water garden or a piece of art, space is considered as part of the
design, sometimes the most compelling part.
We repeat behaviors and experiences until we dont anymore. We choose to stop
because we become weary or bored with the experience. We dont stop because we have
gotten the lesson or learned a great truth but simply because
we have tired of the repetition. What we have to remember is that we are innately
creative, intuitive beings. We are not meant to be herded like cattle. Our design tires of
routine and repetition. It is not only O.K. but also imperative that we follow the
prompting of our intuitive nature to change and grow. Redesigning ourselves is natural in
every way.
Sometimes we have been stagnant so long that abrupt and drastic change is called for. Most
of the time, however, it is only a matter of personal preference and style that governs
how we make change. That we make change is an absolute. If we dont consciously
choose the changes we make, change will occur spontaneously.
Living your bliss is in Divine Design. The universe is ready and willing to respond to
your requests to live in the perfect design of your choice. So, choose and then move
forward toward your choice with gratitude, knowing it has already been granted. Joy,
satisfaction, fulfillment, harmony, and peace are obtained by designing rhythmic right
living.
Here are five easy steps to finding a design for living blissfully:
1. Begin by writing a personal creed. This is the foundation of your
design. When you identify what you truly believe, based on your own experiences, you begin
to know what shape your design will take. Remember that belief systems change, so be
willing to re-examine this creed periodically. Be flexible.
2. Look for your gifts. These are the tools for living your bliss. The
value and beauty of who you are can be found in the things you do that bring you the most
joy.
3. Identify obstacles to living your divine design to its fullest potential. These
obstacles can be in human form, thought form, or logistic form. Prioritize this list and
systematically remove these obstacles from your life. Do not waste one more minute living
less than your bliss. I only have five years until retirement is not a good
excuse for resisting change. You may not survive a job you hate long enough to enjoy your
retirement. Ritually celebrate the gifts that the obstacles have given you. With
gratitude, ceremoniously release each one, effectively clearing the path for new design
features.
4. Install new design features with enthusiasm and expectation. Give the
design enough of a chance to bring forward blissful living. Be willing to abandon the new
design if your bliss is not being realized. Remember the design choices are limitless.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 periodically. Keep what serves you best. Change what
does not. You are the only one familiar enough with your design to choose what is in your
highest good.
Rigidly holding on to any design is counterproductive to rhythmic
right living. Listen to your body. Listen to your intuition. Listen to the voice of your
innermost being. In your design is the ability to know who you are and who you will
become. Be still. Be intimate with yourself and your design will reveal itself. It is a
song and dance you can live with rhythmically. It is a cloth woven of the finest threads
of your experiences. It is a design of divine essence. Claim it. Live it. Cherish it and
celebrate every minute of its gifts.
